Papers, 1751-1806.

Notes, writs, accounts, and other papers of Samuel Blodget and his sons Nathan and Caleb Blodget. Samuel was a Boston merchant before becoming one of the settlers of Goffstown, New Hampshire, where he became a prosperous and prominent citizen. He served in town offices, as judge of the Court of Common Pleas, and as deputy surveyor general of His Majesty's Woods. Among his papers are four shares in the Blodget Canal Company. Caleb Blodget lived in Boston where he was a merchant. A copy of the will of Nathan Blodget is included.
